Larry Kerr

Larry Kerr's 30 years of industry experience include a wide variety of assignments extending from fundamental cost reduction tasks to those of a Plant Quality Manager for General Motor's Lansing Automotive Division and Director of Industrial Engineering for G.M.'s Flint Automotive Division. Other significant responsibilities include facility and project planning, plant layout, assembly processing, systems engineering, work standards, personnel administration, budget development, and performance forecasting. Over 20 years of his career was as a supervisor or manager, which enabled him to acquire insights about effective management practices.

Since 1987 he has functioned as an independent consultant to over 60 small to medium size Michigan manufacturing firms operating in diverse industries.

Larry's experiences fit well with his professional TEC facilitation responsibilities. He has had opportunities to work extensively with the varying personalities of senior management people in a broad range of situations. In addition he has a Bachelors of Science degree from Michigan State University and has taken part in a host of technical and management training seminars.

Larry chairs two TEC groups in Mid-Michigan.
