Phil Hauck
Phil Hauck has been affiliated with TEC since 1990 and currently is chair of TEC 3, 21 and 32, as well as of an independent Senior Marketers & Sales Executive group in Northeast Wisconsin.
A 1964 graduate of DePauw University with an MBA from Columbia University in 1966, his work background is in journalism and retail operations. He was a Wall Street Journal reporter, and owned his own business technique newsletter publishing business. He was employed for 15 years in retailing in distribution, store and company operations responsibilities.
He is co-author of Recapturing The Growth Track: Correcting Leaders' Disempowering Behaviors (Praeger Books, 2004), board president of the Healthy Lifestyles Cooperative of Brown County, and is or was a director, member and officer of a range of civic organizations, including a hospital, community think tank, various Chamber trusts, and economic development efforts. He was state president of the Independent Business Assn. of Wisconsin, and 1992 Media Person of the Year for Wisconsin for the SBA.
He is married with two grown children, in his spare time plays golf, tennis and softball, and loves to travel internationally.
